Refund Policy


Refunds Due to Lack of Sign-Ups:
In the event that a program does not proceed due to insufficient sign-ups, participants who have already registered and paid will be entitled to a full refund of any fees paid. We will make every effort to notify registered participants in a timely manner if a program is canceled due to low enrollment.

Refunds for Circumstances Out of Our Control:
If a program cannot take place due to circumstances beyond our control, such as inclement weather, natural disasters, facility closures, or other unforeseen events, participants will be eligible for a refund. In such cases, we will assess the situation and determine the appropriate refund amount, which may vary depending on factors such as program expenses already incurred.

Refund Process:
To request a refund, participants must submit a refund request form, which can be obtained from our website or office. The form should include details such as the participant's name, program name, registration confirmation number, and reason for the refund request. Refund requests must be submitted within a specified timeframe, typically within 30 days of the program cancellation or the participant's decision to withdraw.

Refund Method:
Refunds will be issued using the original method of payment whenever possible. If the original payment method is not available, refunds may be issued in the form of a check or credited to the participant's account for future use, as determined by Everett Recreation and Enrichment.

Administrative Fees:
In some cases, administrative fees may apply to refund transactions to cover processing costs. These fees will be clearly communicated to participants at the time of registration and will be deducted from the refund amount, if applicable.

Exceptions:
Exceptions to this refund policy may be granted on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of Everett Recreation and Enrichment, particularly in cases of extenuating circumstances or emergencies.

By participating in our programs, participants agree to abide by this refund policy. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us provide quality recreational and enrichment opportunities for the Everett community.
