Everett Club World Cup / Mundial de Clubes - World Cup Soccer for 7th & 8th Grade Students
City of Everett and Soccer Without Borders will collaborate to deliver a second round of Summer Soccer Program for under served youth, grades 4 -12 from Everett, MA. This program will reach an estimate of 100 youth. A 60/40% gender balance in either direction is preferred in order to prioritize gender equity and maximize coaching ratios.This year's Everett Club World Cup / Mundial de Clubes will take place at Rivergreen for 4 weeks (July-August) and will include soccer play/league and instructions, team building and cultural exchange, with a priority on elevating opportunities for youth to connect socially with their peers, providing a safe space to play supporting physical and mental health.Head coaches are extensively trained in coaching for inclusion, trauma-informed coaching, inclusive coaching strategies, and coaching for English language development. Assistant coaches will be SWB coaches in training, many of whom are current volunteers and participants in our year-round programs.
