Lacrosse is a fast-paced, dynamic sport combining elements of basketball, soccer, and hockey, played with a small rubber ball and a long-handled stick (called a "crosse"). The goal is to score by shooting the ball into the opposing team’s net while using the stick to carry, pass, catch, and shoot the ball. The game is divided into four quarters, and teams typically consist of 10 players (in field lacrosse) or 6 players (in box lacrosse).
In our Indoor Lacrosse, you will focus on key skills like catching, throwing, shooting, dodging, and stick protection. Once those skills are built the Lacrosse program will help build different techniques in regards to offense and defense. All while building on condition and fitness.
no equipment is needed, YDE will provide the equipment needed. This Lacrosse program's purpose is to help build interest and learn the game of Lacrosse.
